About the service
Privacy Redactor is a confidential data redaction tool provided by Procurato. It helps you review and remove details before sharing a prompt with ChatGPT. These terms apply to the plugin; ChatGPT and download providers have their own terms.
Your responsibility
Use the tool only with information you are authorized to process. You remain responsible for reviewing the complete output and deciding whether it is appropriate to share. Automated detection can miss information; context and details you keep can still identify a person or client.
Local processing and sharing
Detection and redaction run on your device. Model setup requires network downloads. Opening the panel contacts our hosted MCP server. Clicking Send to chat shares your reviewed output with ChatGPT. Our privacy policy explains these data flows.
Availability and requirements
The tool requires a compatible device with WebGPU and sufficient memory. Its availability and detection accuracy can vary by device, language, and input. It does not provide a guarantee of anonymization or legal compliance.
